The Position

Successful sales candidates will be seasoned new business generators (aka “hunters”) who know list processing, and specifically postal processing. Experience and in depth knowledge of suppression files, append, reverse append and new movers strongly desired. Current verticals include newspapers, banks, cable and retail. While experience in these areas is welcome, expansion into new verticals is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Solution selling approach with documented process
  • B2B and B2C marketing plan development and consultation and strategy development
  • Proven track record for signing new contracts to bring in at least $1MM in new customer sales each year
  • Ability to identify new business & vertical market opportunities and formulate strategic solutions
  • Sales attainment in alignment with goals to support company growth strategy
  • Demonstrate negotiation and closing skills
  • Ability to travel to clients as frequently as required
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills
  • Adapt at selling to the C-suite
  • Effective telephone selling skills
  • Proven track record of financial success

Requirements and Experience

  • 5-10 years experience selling a similar suite of products and services in a direct marketing environment
  • Client-side direct marketing experience
  • Understanding of contract negotiations and legal implications
  • Hands on experience building and maintaining client relationships
  • Proven Continuous Education and development in the DM arena
