The Company

This company is a global leader, and has been operating successfully since 1972, in an international market on 3 continents. As a privately held company they provide solutions for major brands worldwide with innovative high-end designs for a complete range of accessory packaging. Annual sales exceed $70mm.

The Position

The Company has an aggressive growth plan in place and is investing in people and resources to meet their goals. The Sales Executive will work with the VP Sales and Marketing to develop strategies and accomplish successful outcomes and realize goals. This position will be responsible for reliable, targeted research, creative prospecting and ingenuity in order to accurately achieve the company’s sales goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hard working motivated sales executive. You must have prior experience selling high end packaging solutions to top executives and buyers of large corporations and retail accounts in a competitive market against an established vendor. You must be willing to prospect and be excellent at finding new opportunities and growing existing accounts. You must be hard working and have excellent problem solving and consultative skills. You must be willing to travel 50% of the time and have previous revenue achievement of at least $1mm.

Requirements and Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have 2-5 yrs. sales experience in fine packaging (print, plastic film, etc.)
  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Possess a "roll-up-the-sleeves" attitude and hands-on style
  • High energy level and adaptability
  • Well-rounded sales skills
  • Develop and present sales plans, creative concepts and proposals
  • Experience selling and implementing packaging solutions in a retail environment
  • Self-starter, highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines for a variety of marketing deliverables
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation programs such as Word®, Excel®, and PowerPoint®
